Old and New Man

Legally, because of the blood of Jesus Christ you have been given right standing with the God of the universe who has focused His Love on you. Legally, healing, wholeness, soundness, safety, deliverance, prosperity, and eternal life are YOURS.

In reality, few Christians will ever put off the old man and walk in the new man.

Few Christians have taken hold of the Blood of Jesus and the work of Calvary and are transformed into the full status that has been given them in Christ.

Keep it simple. YOU ARE! You are not going to be! You are a new creation, in right standing with God, given authority, spiritual gifts, power, grace, mercy, and the favor of God. You are loved!

Take ownership of your inheritance and then determine to grow to fit it. All the resources of heaven are available to assist you in your growth.

Col 1:21-22 And you, who once were alienated and enemies. . . yet now He has reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight.

You have been given a place in Christ where God meets you as an heir. The bank vault is open. How much of it are you willing to live.

As Christians we want to fix our old life instead of exchanging the old for the new. How foolish.

Luke 9:23-24 Jesus said, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me. "For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it.

Jesus says to you, if you desire to follow me, you must decide which road to take at each intersection where your old life and your new life cross. If you try to fix and repair and save your old identity you will have nothing but if you will lay down your old identity for My sake you will find the new life I have given you.

Rom 8:16 -17 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs; heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ . . .
