It was rather interesting, as there were a number of street people on the pier, visiting with each other. We went to the end of the pier and stood beside the marine marker and prayed. These pictures are part of our prayer time.
Matthew 5:13-16
Let me tell you why you are here. You're here to be salt-seasoning that brings out the God-flavors of this earth. If you lose your saltiness, how will people taste godliness? You've lost your usefulness and will end up in the garbage. "Here's another way to put it: You're here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We're going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you don't think I'm going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I'm putting you on a light stand. Now that I've put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand—shine! Keep open house; be generous with your lives. By opening up to others, you'll prompt people to open up with God,this generous Father in heaven.
Many thanks to Dan King and Parksville Fellowship Baptist Church for their welcome and hospitality! It was amazing as Dan had already set up a week of 24-7 prayer and we were able to weave our time into this, and cover the late night watch. We were also asked to be door keepers for the other prayer shifts which we were happy to do!
Stay tuned, we're heading to Courtenay tomorrow to spend some time with our spiritual mom and dad..

Hi Ladies.
Your prayer pics were neat. The one reminded me of Jesus saying I will make you fishers of men.
With the ray of light being Jesus and the ripples the fish and you are looking from above seeing the rich harvest just within reach waiting for the prayer net to be tossed out.
Anyways know I am still travelin with yous as best I can.

Thanks for the update, beautiful pictures. Talk to you soon. Cindy
This scripture speaks directly to something that has been impressed upon my heart recently. Men...
Men seem to be missing from church lately. Even some of those that may be there physically, would rather be somewhere else. It seems that much of the energy being churned in the older denominations is feminine. Very relational based, very social and focused inward or limited to local community. Men need to be involved in action-adventure-risk. It is these things in particular that attract and keep the younger men involved in congregations.
Men alone are not the salt of the earth... that is men and women together. It maybe the men or at least the action part that is masculine in nature that is the saltiness that is sometimes missing from many churches. Lord, the harvest is plentiful but the (male) workers are few. Let us pray for more workers!!
