A nameless, almost faceless float...lifting up the name of Jesus in the streets of Gibsons!! The painting says "friends from sea to sea" . We had some Japanese girls walking with us giving out candy, our Sunday School kids and families were there, and many others......and there was a scripture on the back of the float that said "The earth is the Lords and everthing in it"...YEAH! And God is doing a new thing in bringing together the generations. Our drummer and keyboard player were 15 years old, the lead guitar player was 24, the lead singer and backup were 47...cool eh?..and no person, church or event was promoted..only exalting the name of JESUS!! Oh and by the way, see the blue ribbon? Jesus won first prize too...
