Faith is being sure of what we hope for, its the evidence of things not yet seen!

The stakes for everyone who wants the narrow path is the same. Death. There is a cross that is perfectly fit for each person. Your stakes are no higher than mine. Only different.

Each one of us must lose our life here and God will see to it that nothing of the old will remain. The cost is the same for everyone. How can we not lose everything for him, since he had more to lose that any of us could ever imagine? How puny are the things that we stubbornly hang onto. The minute we let go, there is peace. The minute we stop trying there is rest. The minute we die to our own efforts, then we are released fully into his power working in us. And even if he doesn't come through in the way we expect or want, though he slay us, yet we will trust him. There is no other way. This is the way of faith. If we are waiting for certainty, then it is no longer faith. Uncertainty will always lead to double-mindedness and fear of man. We must be fully convinced.
