The Next Step After Ring of Fire

Well, it's almost officially the end of January 2010 and since our prayer tour in October, Karen and I had been praying for the next step. As you may recall, Richard and Terry Long from National House of Prayer came from Ottawa to our church for a commissioning of sorts before our prayer tour. While they were with us, they were introduced to Greg who is the director of Keats Camps (where Karen's husband Mike works as caretaker). Richard and Terry stayed with Mike and Karen while they were here, met Greg, viewed the camp - and then talk started about hosting a house of prayer on the land there, during the Olympics.

To make a long story short, Richard has been commissioned by NHOP to oversee the Keats Island International Prayer Center from February 12-28. Karen and I have been asked to participate in the leadership team there, and our church has allowed us to have a very flexible schedule during that time, to free us up to be there as much as possible.

God has been speaking to us about a prayer assignment on the island before the Prayer Base begins so we have been in preparation mode. Our friend Cindy, who was our rear guard for the prayer tour, has also been asked to be a part of this. We will be praying in some strategic areas over the next week or so.

Richard has been busy with networking with other prayer ministries not just in Canada but across the globe. The intercessory backup so far is incredible! Richard already has a large number of people signed up for regular weekly updates.

If you are an intercessor, we would love to have you join us for prayer on Keats Island anytime from Feb 12-28.

Also a group of us from the Prayer Centre will be at the 24-7 Burn in Burnaby so would love to see you there as well:

We are excited about meeting with God together with those have a heart for revival. We are also looking foward to having a specific location set apart for Him, to minister to Him and discover what is on His heart for this time and for this area of Canada. As part of the overall prayer time, there will be various prayer stations set up, worship arts, as well as our prayer tent from the Ring of Fire Prayer Tour.

Here is a beautiful view from Keats Island. Doesn't it just make you WANT to come?

Will keep you posted!
Please keep us in your prayers.....
